First Lady of the United States of America. Born on June 8 1925, as Barbara Pierce, she married future President George Walker Bush on January 6, 1945. She served as the First Lady from January 20, 1989 to January 20, 1993. She is the mother of Robin Bush, who died in 1952, Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and President George W. Bush. In 1994 she released her autobiography, "Barbara Bush: A Memoir" among many other writings.
