Elizabeth DiNunzio, a Spanish major and Education minor at Mount St. Mary's University, of Harmony PA, departed this life suddenly and unexpectedly, April 28, 2009.

She was the beautiful and precious daughter of Eric and Melissa Painter of Harmony and Charles DiNunzio of Erie.

Elizabeth was to graduate from Mount Saint Mary's in May with High Honors in Spanish Education, and had accepted a teaching position in Lake City, South Carolina. She had also recently received an academic award from the University, and was regularly on the Dean's List.

She was an avid runner, having participated in various 5K races and the National Half in Washington, D.C., and was looking forward to participating in her first marathon in Pittsburgh on May 3rd.

Elizabeth was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople, where she enjoyed participating in the Vacation Bible School program. While in high school, she was a member of the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, marching band, honors band, and the River City Youth Brass Band.

In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her brother, Christopher DiNunzio of Zelienople; her sister. Emily Painter of Harmony; grandparents, William and Elizabeth Kennedy and Jon and Judy Painter, of Zelienople and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
