Violet O. Bellis, 94, former resident of Bartlesville, Prattville, and Mannford, Oklahoma died Friday, October 12, 2012, in Mesa, Arizona. Surrounded by many family members.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Arizona. Cremation arrangements were directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home Crematory in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Violet O. Bellis was born October 3, 1918 in Tulsa County, Oklahoma to Joseph Verbal and Amanda Jane (White) Daniel. Her husband, Bennie J. Bellis of Mannford died in 1989 while they loved in Prattville.
Survivors include two daughters Gloria Faith Lynch of Scottsdale, Arizona and Virginia Hope Poole of Fountain Hills, Arizona; one sister Rosa Lee Hirsch of Denver, Colorado and one brother Joe Daniel of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bellis was also preceded in death by one brother Leo Daniel and sisters Virginia Cooper Foster and Wilma Jane Chisholm.
