AMARILLO - Rashawndra Ann Aiken, 3, died Tuesday at Northwest Texas Hospital from injuries sustained in a fall from a tree Monday in McLean.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Ed Brown and Son Funeral Directors.
Rashawndra reportedly fell from a tree in McLean and was treated at the Pampa hospital before being taken to Amarillo.
A fund has been established at First National Bank in Borger to help with funeral and burial costs. Organizers are trying to raise enough funds to bury the child next to her sister, Miranda, who died last year at age 5 months from epileptic seizures. Miranda is buried at Highland Park Cemetery.
Rashawndra was the daughter of Tracy Aiken and the granddaughter of Mary Lou Aiken.
Persons wishing to contribute to the fund may do so at the First National Bank of Borger, under the name of Mary Lou Aiken, in care of Rashawndra Aiken.
