Musician. Born in Dallas, Texas, he was the guitarist, keyboardist and founding member of the popular rock band "Tripping Daisy". The alternative rock band formed in 1990, signed with Island Records in 1993 and released three albums, "Bill" (1992; re-released in 1993 upon signing with Island), "I Am an Elastic Firecracker" (1995), which sold nearly 300,000 units and "Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb" (1998). He died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
