Born to parents Andrew Kacyon and Gertrude I. Belles, he married Bertha M. Humphries and had the following children: Jeffry R., Beth, June, and Raymond. A 1949 graduate of Berwick High School He was a master Electrician working at Wise Potato Company for 42 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Corporal. He was awarded the Occupation Medal, Germany, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was an active member of St Paul's United Methodist Church Berwick where he served as a trustee and treasurer for the United Methodist Men. A member of the Berwick Rod and Gun Club, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and also enjoyed spending time with his family. On Feb 24, he celebrated 53 years of marriage.
