Andrew Duane Frye, 6, Martinsville, passed from this life on June 30th, 2011 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis at 8:03 pm.
Andrew's family was given the opportunity and made the selfless decision to donate his heart and heart valves through the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization, benefiting the lives of two other children.
He was born May 25th, 2005 in Martinsville, Indiana to Amanda M. (Frye) Vandagrifft of Martinsville.
Andrew is survived and loved by many including; his mother, Amanda M. Vandagrifft and Matthew Boulden, both of Martinsville, Randy Vandagrifft of Franklin, IN, brothers, Nathan and Conner and sister, Megan, all of Martinsville. Also surviving are his grandmother, Deb Verley, Martinsville, grandfather, Earl Frye, Riverton, Wyoming, great grandmother, Carol Verley, Bouse, AZ and uncle, Sam Sandahl of San Diego, CA.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Duane Verley.
Andrew attended both the Evangelical Methodist Church and Liberty Christian Church in Martinsville.
Friends and family are invited to a service celebrating Andrews's life on Thursday, July 7th at 11:00 am at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center in Martinsville. There will be no calling hours and no burial. Following the service family and friends are encouraged to fellowship together at the Liberty Christian Church in Martinsville.
