Murder Victim. Subject of a trial extensively covered by national media. He was struck on the highway in the early morning hours of October 26, 2001, by a then 25 year old Chante Jawan Mallard. He lay with his head and shoulders stuck inside her windshield, bleeding to death in her garage. Mallard was found guilty and subsequently sentenced to 60 years in prison.
