Sydney Marie Akin, age 6, of First Avenue, Rochelle, passed away Saturday in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Sydney was born in Pulaski County, January 9, 1999. She was a first grade student at Wilcox County Elementary School and was a Baptist. She was the beloved daughter of Jimmy and Debbie Akin. Her maternal grandparents are, Ann Caine and the late Sidney P. Caine; paternal grandparents, the late James Akin and Nell Akin; aunts, Carla Parks, Pat (Rusty) Wyant and Karen (Mark) Lincoln; uncles, Paul Caine and Dana Akin; cousin, Beth Parks. A young life that was taken far too soon. Her beautiful smile will be deeply missed.
