Shannon Edward Lee Thibodaux, 9, of Ironton died Tuesday in Lucasville.
The Huntington, W.Va., native was born Aug. 5, 1994, the son of Karen McClellan of Lucasville and Eddie Thibodaux of Ironton.
He was a student at Rock Hill Elementary School.
Survivors, in addition to his parents include a sister, Karen Sue Thibodaux of Ironton; paternal grandparents, Josa and Terry Corbin of Ironton; maternal grandfather, Roger McClellan of Orlando, Fla.; two aunts, Paula Thibodaux and Jennifer McClellan, both of Ironton; and two uncles, Tony Thibodaux of Ironton and Gary Williams of Buffalo, W.Va.
He also was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Sue McClellan; paternal grandfather,Albert Thibodaux; an aunt Lisa Thibodaux an uncle,Vic Shannon Thibodaux ; and paternal great-grandmother, Alma Lewis.
Funeral was at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation was at the funeral home.
