Lois Harris Gibson, 90, of Albemarle, NC passed away on February 11, 2011 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 12 from 7-9 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home. At other times the family will meet at the home of her son, James Coble, 1202 N.E. Connector, Albemarle, NC 28001.
The service will be held Sunday, February 13 at 2 PM in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Kenneth Gibson. Burial will follow the service on Monday at 11 AM at Fairview Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Stoney Benfield.
Mrs. Lois Gibson was born in Montgomery County on September 16, 1920 to the late Travis and Ruth Harris.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Jack Coble, and her second husband, Dossie L. Gibson.
Mrs. Lois Gibson is survived by her son James C Coble and wife Martha of Albemarle; step-son, Rev. Kenneth Gibson of Cherryville; brother, Horace V. Harris of Springfield, VA; sister-in-law Sue Coble of Albemarle; grandchildren, David Coble and wife Erica of Albemarle, Melissa Coble of Indian Trail, Jennifer Coble of Albemarle; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Camden Coble.
