Mrs. Gillette was born Sept. 17, 1915 in Niles, the daughter of Thomas and Fannie Church Darrow.
A former resident of Lake Como, she had been a resident of Moravia the past 10 years.
She was a member of the Summerhill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, E. Gordon Gillette, with whom she had celebrated their 60th anniversary in August; one son, Dr. Thomas Gillette of Seattle, Wash.; two grandsons, Bradford and Sean Gillette, both of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Helen Mahr of Moravia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gillette was predeceased by a son, David Gillette, in 1984; a grandson, Christopher Thomas Gillette, in 1981; and two brothers, Hubert and Virgil Darrow.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Summerhill Baptist Church, 525 Lake Como Rd., Summerhill. Interment will be in West Homer Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia.
