CORTLAND – Mrs. Nancy Gillette, 87, of 5 Lincoln Ave., died Thursday at the Elms Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1868, in Groton and was the widow of Justus J. Gillette.
Mrs. Gillette was a member of the First Methodist Church, Neoscoleta Rebekah Lodge and an honorary member of the Cortlandville Grange.
She is survived by a stepson, Allie Gillette of Burlington Flats, two nieces, Mrs. Clara Walters of Chicago and Mrs. Bertha Ihrig of Brookdale, Calif., and a nephew, Enoch Morgan of Groton.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Beard Memorial Home with the Rev. Dr. Philip Nason, pastor of First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in McLean cemetery.
Friends may call from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the memorial home.
