He was born in 1924 in Indiana to Dean and Ada Taylor Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer was a veteran of WW II having served in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Indiana. He was employed as a machinist with Fisher Scientific for 33 years before his retirement.
He is survived by one daughter Sheila Bell and husband Jeff, Indiana; granddaughter Christy Hardcastle and husband Jeremy, Denton, TX; three great grandchildren, Trey, Kaylynn, and Mason; one sister, Connie Hill and husband Hood, Indiana.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife Alma “Honey” Fulmer on September 21, 2016, his brother Robert Fulmer, and his sister Betty McKee.
A graveside service will be held at the Oakland Cemetery with military honors provided by the VFW Post #1989.
