Mildred E. Mack Engard, 81, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 24, 2001) in Warren Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 4, 1920, in Warren, the daughter of Raymond and Agnes Scott Mack. A lifelong area resident, she had been employed by Sears. She was a member of the Barnes United Methodist Church, where she was past treasurer of the United Methodist Women. She was a longtime bowling enthusiast. She is survived by two daughters: Linda Doverspike of Warren and Debbie Popson of Ridgway; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Engard, whom she married Nov. 8, 1936, in Warren, and who died in July 1997; a daughter, Diane Hanson; and three sisters: Gladys Porter, Lillian Fedderman and Margaret Look.
