Dr. Joseph Mull

He was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Emlenton, the son of Fred L. and Harriet King Mull.
A Sheffield resident since 1952, he was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He practiced medicine for 32 years in Sheffield, and six years in Warren. He was a member of the Sheffield United Methodist Church, the North Star Lodge 241 F&AM, the Shriners and the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Hoffman Mull, whom he married March 22, 1952, in Greensburg, Pa.; two sons: Jeff Mull of Corvalis, Ore., and John Mull of Paradise, Utah; three daughters: Susan Mull of Pittsburgh, Marsha Logan of Warren, and Linda Auflick of Ashville; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred L. Mull.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Sheffield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Terry Hurlbutt, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Sheffield Cemetery.
