Mary (Harris) Carr, 79, of Baldwinsville, died Friday following a long illness. She was born in Homer, graduated from Cato High School and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. Mary and her first husband, Edwin, owned and operated a Red & White Food Store in Baldwinsville. She was later employed by and retired from SYROCO. She was a member of the CNY Bluegrass Association. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Edwin A. Harris, in 1977. Survivors: her husband of 28 years, R. Peter Carr; her children, Larry Harris of Baldwinsville, Christine (Robert) Jackson of Baldwinsville and Mark Harris and his fiancee, Shawnee Jacobs, of Martville; two sisters, Bertha Brazo of Cincinnatus and Agnes Hollenbeck of Homer; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
