CORTLAND – Services for Henry Breeds, 87, of 245 Groton Ave., will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Earle W. Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. S. Leon Cooke officiating.
Mr. Breeds, a Cortland resident more than 60 years, died Wednesday in his home.
He was a retired landscape gardener and a member and honorary trustee of the Parkside Assembly of God Church.
He was born Feb. 23, 1877, in England.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hattie Tifft of Cortland, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Frank Breeds of Cato and James Breeds of Moravia, two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Whatman of Ithaca and Miss Alma Breeds of Homer, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
