He was the son of Robert A. and Christina (Keller) Baker Sr.
Robert was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg, where he was the head altar server and was recognized for his service. He was a 2002 graduate of Gettysburg High School and attended Drexel University. He was employed by AAC, Inc. at the Federal Communications Commission in Gettysburg at the time of his death. He was a member of Adams County Fish & Game Association.
He is survived by his parents; a companion, Janey Lacher of Hanover; a sister, Shanna C. Baker of Gettysburg; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keller of Gettysburg; and paternal grandmother, Hazel Baker of Hanover.
