Al passed away peacefully on January 30, 2013.
Al was born in Otthan, SK, in his family home.
He is survived by his wife June of 54 years and his daughters Nancy Babin, Brenda McDougall (Dale) and son Brad. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jocelyn (Thomas) Husch, Jonathan Babin and Jared Aichele.
Al was proud of his long-term career with Canada Safeway. He was a sports enthusiast at heart, especially playing a round of golf. He enjoyed gardening and getting together with friends and family.
A Graveside Service will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery, 3219 - 4 Street N.W. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Calgary Health Trust Cardiac Function Clinic at the Foothills Hospital. A very special thank you to nurse Anne and his team of doctors.
