Aichele, Eleanor M., Age 88 Died Monday, December 7, 2009. at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN.
Eleanor was born June 13, 1921, in St. Paul, MN. She married Gerald Aichele Sr. in St. Paul and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1999. Eleanor worked as a bank teller for the First Bank in St. Paul and upon retirement moved to Biloxi, MS. She survived hurricane Katrina and moved to Winona, MN, to be closer to her son Greg.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucy (Pat) Elverum and Nancy (Corey) Weller; four sons, George (Terry), Gary, Greg (Linda) and Gordon (Kimberly) Aichele; eight grandchildren; six great-grand-children; two sisters, Celie Jensen and Neacie Herrmann, and brother, David (Jackie) Strobel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister.
Private family graveside services will be held in Biloxi National Cemetery. Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel in Winona, MN, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
