VALLEY VIEW — Services for Natalie Elizabeth Cowling, 21, of Valley View, are set for 3 p.m. today at the Commerce Street Church of Christ in Gainesville with Lynn Blair of the Valley View Church of Christ and Jerry Jackson, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Miss Cowling died April 16, 2006, in Houston as a result of an auto/pedestrian accident.

She was born Dec. 12, 1984, in Denton to Davis and Rita (Martindale) Cowling. She was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and attended Valley View High School. She was very active in sports. She attended Houston Community College and worked in clothing sales.

Survivors include her parents, Davis and Rita Cowling of Valley View; sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and Cory Lebouf of Katy; and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cletis and Claudia Martindale and Herman D. and Edith Cowling.

Pallbearers are Ben Cowling, Jason Wade, Roy Brewer, Mary Allison, Steve Lemons, Allison Haley, Todd Martindale, and Brad Chism. Honorary pallbearer is Bill Spears.

No visitation is planned.
