Mr. Kenneth L. "Tree Daddy" McClain, age 74, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014, in Ocean Springs.
Kenny was a native of Cleveland, MS and a resident of the coast since 1964. He was the owner and operator of McClains Tree Service, served on the Ocean Springs Tree Committee and was a former member of the Ocean Springs Jaycees.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Dale McClain and wife, Pauline McClain.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie (Sulemi) McClain and Danny (Debbie) McClain, one sister, Jimmie McClain, seven grandchildren, Samuel Cleve McClain, Dylan Lamar McClain, Jordan Lamar McClain, Ben McClain, Andrea McClain, Juan David Patino and Laura Patino.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 10, 2014, from 5pm until 8pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, January 11, there will be an 11am church service at St. Paul UMC Downtown, where friends may call from 10am until 11am.
