Henry is the husband of Jane Dickey Havens - On February 1, 1864 on her Civil War Pension deposition before John Flurry, Member of the Board of Police - with James O'Neal as her witness stating he knew the family for 15 years, and they were of good character. Sent to J.R. Eastburn Mobile Ala.

Henry is believed to be the son of HOWARD HAVENS & unknown wife [brother to John Havens b 1775].
Cain in 'Four Centuries on the Pascagoula' stated ..'Henry died later and was buried at Brookhaven, Miss..' [since Jane made a deposition in 1864, she was alive after Henry died, and listed in the 1870 Jackson Co MS census]

According to Cain.. Henry & Jane were the parents of, Joseph W., Buck, Art, Almedia, Seborn, Nancy and William.

Henry's record stated he was 63, but upon further examination he was 43 years old, he was 5 feet 11 inches tall, sallow complexion, with hazel eyes, occupation a farmer.

Enlisted Sept 6, 1862 by Capt Benjamin Stevens "Steede's Battalion of Cavalry, at 'Camp Myers?' Miss, for period of war.
