Aaron was the oldest child of John and Sarah Wing. He married Deborah Dillingham, of Long Plain, Bristol County, Massachusetts. They had eleven children, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Edward, John, Stephen, Mary, Joseph, Asa, Harvey, Aaron, and Samuel. They lived for a while at Scorton, East Sandwich, Massachusetts, then settled at Butternut, in Otsego County, New York, where he purchased 1,000 acres of land. He died after a brief illness on September 29, 1849. Deborah died in 1847 at Morris, in the same county.
