Harold enlisted in the Navy to be a technician in the submarine service. He was in Idaho completing his 2 years of training, pending duty in Scotland. He was the best man at a Navy friends wedding which was a long drive, and while returning to his base, his car veered off of the road and rolled over. He was ejected from the car and passed away.
