Ron Dye, 55, of Overand Park, Kansas, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Porter Funeral Home, Lenexa, Kansas. Graveside services will immediately follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Ron was born April 30, 1953, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Dr. Pete and Lurleine Dye. He is survived by his children; Kyle and Courtney, and a brother; Gary Dye, Overland Park, Kansas.

Ron was a member of the 1972 graduating class of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, in Shawnee, Kansas.
