Howard was an industrial machinist for Coors Tek, the largest technical ceramics manufacturer in North America.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; sons, Justin and Jimmy; and daughters, Sheila Davis, Stacey Kemper, and Jennifer Zook.
A memorial service was held at Valley Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
