Daughter of George and Rachel (Colbert) Shaull and wife of Clement Chaney. Mary shares a stone with her brother Joshua and is buried under her maiden name. A Williams Co. death record (Vol 3, page 22) lists the death of 'Mary Chaney' as Oct. 29, 1905 at the Toledo State Hospital. The only reason to record this death in Williams Co. would be that she was to be buried in the county, and I believe this is the same person. It is possible that Mary died of Tuberculosis or some other communicable disease, and that she was being quarantined at the hospital, which was standard practice at that time.
