Leon C. Cramer Sr., 78, of Altoona died Saturday morning at Valley View Nursing Home.

He was born in Huntingdon, son of the late Grover C. and Mildred (Couch) Cramer. He married Jean W. Nicewonger.

Surviving are his wife, at home; a daughter, Sherri Lee Hosterman and husband, Gary, of Altoona; a son, Leon C. Cramer Jr. and wife, Kristin, of Altoona; sisters: Wava Weaver of Duncansville and Alice Burd of Altoona; brothers: Grover C. of Altoona, George of Martinsburg, Jack of Boston and Jerry of Harrisburg; two grandchildren: Jason L. and Kimberly M., both of Altoona; and a great-grandson, Brody A. Brazile of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Mountain and Judy Merica.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

Mr. Cramer retired from Warnaco as a supervisor after 25 years of service.

He was a Korean War veteran.

He was a member of Riggles Gap Sportsman Club.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 Fifth Ave., Altoona.
