Major League Baseball Player. Born James Joseph Gleeson. During his five-year career in the majors he played outfield for three clubs: the Cleveland Indians (1936), Chicago Cubs (1939 to 1940), and Cincinnati Reds (1941 to 1942). Gleeson had a career batting average of .263 and batted in 154 runs.
