First of all, I would like to thank Laurel Shimpky Marcucci for creating my daughter Deanna Duran's memoral and then transferring it to me. This memorial has kept me close to her and has brought a sense of peace in my heart. I also thank so many of you for all your visits, honoring and loving Deanna. What a blessing this has been to me "Always and Forever" my Pebbles will be..~

This has been very hard on me to finally put together a Bio for my dear daughter. It has taken me three years, four months, and ten days to do so. There is never a good enough reason for me not to. So here I am, finally.

Deanna Duran went away at a very young age of 21 on June 8, 2005. She was born on December 5, 1983 at Saint Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Colorado to the parents of Robert and Carolyn Duran. She also has a step Mother Lori Rasmussen, two brothers, Frankie Duran and Robert Duran Jr and one sister Kathrine Duran. Deanna resided and grew up in Lafeyette Colorado in Boulder County. She also has many cousins that were very close to her. Deanna was also a mother of two beautiful daughters, Danessa and Dakoda. She went to school in Lafayette and then graduated from high school in 2002 at Centaurus High School.

I remember the day she was born. It was one of the most exciting days of my life. Deanna was the daughter that I always dreamed of having. The very first sight of her was like a bright light shining before me. She had so much hair on her head, it was standing straight up in the air. I spend a lot of time with her in her early years. We were so close to each other. I seen her take her first steps, I even potty trained her. Together we planted a garden and watched it grow. My baby would get so excited! One thing that always comes to my mind and brings a smile to my face is one day I was up early getting ready for work. There she was, up, looking right at me, wanting attention. I was so happy that she was spending time with me before I went to work. She was only about two years old that day. She then climbed up on the couch and told me to watch her. She then jumped down to the floor from the couch. She kept telling me "watch me daddy, watch me." It was so cute. She was really proud of herself about that. Deanna always had the most beautiful smile. My sweetheart was always so happy.
❤ ❤ ❤
Deanna ran into problems in her life which was too much for her to bear. Deanna was a suicide victim. It will always haunt me wondering if I could of been there for her and helped. She was much too young and deserved to live a full life with her two wonderful daughters. May God rest her soul and one day bring her back to me.

I knew Deanna from the Teen Parenting Program where I work with Teens and their babies. She was such a sweet girl and was a great mother to little Danessa. Deanna was a quiet and shy girl and we were unaware of the problems she felt she had. Deanna was a beautiful young mother. She fought the demons as long as she could then took her own life.
