Mrs. York had been a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church for more than 50 years and had served as a Sunday School teacher. She worked for many years at the Chattanooga Telephone Company and retired as secretary of Westside Elementary School with 30 years of service. Mrs. York was a member of the Bentley Place Garden Club and also volunteered as a Gray Lady at Hutcheson Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Hargraves, and husbands, Robert W. Campbell and Wayne York.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Gary Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
