Frankie Mae Foster
Ms. Foster, 84, of Charlotte passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital-Matthews. She was born July 18, 1924 in Gaffney, SC the daughter of the late Quince and Mary Lemmons.
Frankie was a member of Statesville Road Baptist Church. She was very active in her church and was always helpful in assisting those in need. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Statesville Road Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Dale Shields. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at McEwen Funeral Service Derita Chapel.
Frankie is survived by her two daughters, Annise Foster Mohl and her husband James of Monroe, NC and Karen Foster Custer of Pasadena, MD; brother, Charles Lemmons and his wife Betty of Huntersville, NC; two grandchildren, Michael Spencer and Aubrey Custer both of Pasadena, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, and her former husband, J.A. Foster.
