Mrs. Shirley Dulin Kirby, age 44 of Mint Hill died Saturday, March 3, 1979 at her home. funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 5th at McEwen West Chapel, with the Rev. Homer Morris and the Rev. Preston Dupree Officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Kirby was born June 6, 1934 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of Walter Harrison (Dobbin) Dulin and Alma G. Fincher Dulin of Mint Hill NC. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was employed by Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company for twenty-five years. She is survived by her husband, Paul D. Kirby S.,one daughter Vickie Kirby Stamey,of Indian Trail NC., two sons Paul D. Kirby Jr. of Charlotte NC. and John Walter Kirby of the home. Her Parents and and two brothers Kenneth H. Dulin and Robert C. Dulin of Mint Hill. One Granddaughter Miss Heather Dawn Stamey of Indian Trail NC. Active pallbearers will be the following employees of Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company, H.B. Corothers, Glenn Biggs, John McCan Jr., Mark Markham, Jerry Rufty and J. Eark Turner. McEwen Funeral Services of Charlotte is in charge of arrangements.
