James Clymon Grubb , Jr . Mr. Grubb , 73, of Charlotte passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital, Matthews. His family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-9 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 4431 Old Monroe Road, Indian Trail. Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail with Reverend Mike Whitson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sharon Memorial Park with military honors. Mr. Grubb was born on February 19, 1934 son to the late James Clymon Grubb Sr. and Leona Grubb . His beloved wife Nancy Annice Sayers Grubb also preceded James in passing. He proudly served his country in the 82nd airborne during the Korean War. James worked many years and retired from Pepsi Cola as a Service Technician. Survivors include his children, Jimmy Grubb and wife Brenda of Stallings, Rick Grubb and wife Sandra of Indian Trail, Cheryl Magliocca of Mint Hill, Jerry Grubb and wife Susan of Monroe; grandchildren, Jason Grub and wife Candice and their family, Kayla Cartee and Leah Broome, Alan Magliocca, Kelly Grubb , Lauren Magliocca, Chris Grubb , Melissa Grubb , Emily Grubb , Morgan Grubb ; and great-grandchild, Brayden Grubb . In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
