Survivors include her husband, Ray Polk of the home; and a son Roger Polk of the home; three brothers, Bennett Walters and Melvin Walters of Charlotte and Ronnie Walters of Peachland; four sisters, Geneva Curran of Polkton, Bryte Hyatt of Marshville, Doris Parker of Monroe, and Miriam Thomas of Charlotte; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Dawn Polk.
