Revolutionary War militia soldier. He was killed during the Battle of Bunker Hill, fought on Breed's Hill. He was the son of Jesse Story Sr. (born in 1730 died in 1824). Ephraim Story and Elizabeth Story, (and six other children) were children of Jesse Story Sr. and Ruhamah Burnham Story. Ephraim and Elizabeth were siblings of Jesse Jr. not his children. No record of Jesse Jr. being married has been found. Also, there is no record of Ephraim Story ever using the middle name Franklin; he was always Ephraim Story in birth, marriage, will and death records.
