Stacy C. Hawkins, 83, of Moline, died Sept. 20 in Sedan. She was born July 12, 1888, in Monticello, Ky., to Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Spann. Her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fay Dorsey of Moline, Mrs. Lucy Hawkins of Wichita; one sister, Mrs. May Upchurch of Monticello; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Watt Funeral Chapel, Moline. Interment will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Howard. Georgetta Davis and Mrs. Esther Benson will officiate.

Born in Monticello, Kentucky, she had been a resident of Elk county for more than 50 years. Her husband George, died in July.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fay Dorsey, Moline, and Mrs. Lucy Hawkins, Wichita; and a sister Mrs. May Upchurch, Monticello, Kentucky.
