Asheville - Sara Eurana Johnson Fite, 98, formerly of Fairview, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Givens Estates.
Mrs. Fite was born in Henderson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Oscar and Suzie Odom Johnson; her husband, Sam Henry Fite; daughters, Molly Huffman and Sara Beddingfield; sister, Marie Johnson of Myrtle Beach; and brothers, Grady Johnson and Robert Johnson.
She was a member of Fairview-Sharon United Methodist Church and attended Skyland United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Henrietta Dillingham of Arden; a son, James P. Burge and his wife, Connie, of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-greatgrandsons.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m.
Monday at Moore's Grove Cemetery in Hendersonville with the Rev. Milton Young officiating. At Mrs. Fite's request, please no weeping at the service.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 78:30 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
