Mrs. Cutler was born August 5, 1908 in the mountains of Virginia to the late King and Pearl Stephens. She was a dedicated member of First Presbyterian Church, having joined there March 25, 1951. She will be remembered for her fierce independence, her quick mind, and her love of gardening and sharing her vegetables. Mrs. Cutler was predeceased by her husband, L. J. Cutler, in 1966, and she continued to live in their home until health problems forced her move into a care center in 2002.
Mrs. Cutler is survived by several nieces and nephews in Virginia.
