Raymond Aigner, 76, a Bisbee, Ariz., resident, died at the Copper Queen Community Hospital on Friday, Dec. 31, 2004. Mr. Aigner was born in Prescott, Ariz., on April 9, 1928, to Al Aigner and Dorothy Fenderson Aigner. Raymond worked for Phelps Dodge Corp. as a blacksmith until retirement. He was a member of St. Patrick Church.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Vivian Aigner on Sept. 23, 2004.

Survivors include his two daughters, Susan and her husband, Richard Laurence, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Denise Hewlett of Peoria, Ariz.; four grandsons, John Jasna, Michael Jasna, Chris Hewlett and Scott Hewlett; and a great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Hewlett.

Mr. Aigner was cremated and a private burial of cremains will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are being handled by Dugan Funeral Chapel.

According to the 1959 Bisbee City Directory, he lived with Vivian at 83 Czar Avenue in Bisbee and he worked as a #2 Sharpener for Phelps Dodge.
