According to his death certificate, he was the son of James Aiken born in Ireland and Hanah Balander born in South Dakota. Andrew was born in the mining town (now ghost town) of Stump Town, which is located east of Leadville on a hill overlooking Leadville and down the road from Finntown. Died at age 17 years, 6 mos, 7 days in the Copper Queen Hospital of endo & pericarditis, (bad handwriting, can't read), and articular rheumatism. Buried 12/2/1928.
