Native of Spokane, WA. Moved to Seattle. Attended Holy Names Academy (aka Homely Dames) and Roosevelt High. Elegant, tall, dark, curly hair. Married Roy M. Lorimer who was employed at Boeing, Seattle. Loved sailing and her husband. Two boys, Doug and David, born while they lived in Bothel. Roy moved to Modesto, CA after the war to find work in construction. He brought the family down to join him soon after. Barbara was born Aug. 1947 and the family moved to Sawmill Flat, near Columbia, CA. Daughter Jodi born in Nov. 1950. Roy worked as a stone mason, building the swimming pool dressing rooms at Columbia School, restoring the Masonic Lodge in Columbia and many other local sites. Roy was seriously injured in an auto accident that left him permanently disabled, legally blind, partially deaf. But did not impair his brilliant mind nor memory. Milli at 5'9" had designed her own elegant clothes while in Seattle and loved dancing to the Big Bands at the Olympic Ballroom in Seattle, raised four great children, kept them dressed, well fed and filled with aspiration. Roy fed their minds, their curiosity and their humor. They both passed quietly at home with their children and grandchildren around them, two years apart. See Roy Lorimer.
