Dennis Stephenson
Dennis Lee Stephenson, a former Tuolumne County resident, died Saturday at his home in Tucson, Arizona.
A native of Escalon, he lived in Columbia for four years and was graduated from Columbia School. He attended Sonora High School during his sophomore year and was graduated from Gustine High School in 1981.
He lived in Modesto for several years before moving to Tucson some years ago. For nine years, Mr. Stephenson, 29, was self-employed as a bookkeeper.
He is survived by his parents, Al and Delores Stephenson of Quartzsite, Arizona; five sisters, Cindy Scrip of Modesto, Karen Rosales of Merced, Chris Schulz of Columbia, Opal Stout of Lees Summit, Missouri and Diana Chisum of Modesto; a brother, Ben Stephenson of Chowchilla, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Visitatiion will be tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m., and a chapel service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home. Cremation will take place after the service.
Donations in Mr. Stephenson's name may be made to a favorite charity.
