Evelyn L. (Girardi) Antonelli 78, of Thistle Drive, Cranston, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at home. She was the wife of Christopher Antonelli. They would have been married fifty-two years on May 5, 2007. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Agusto and Vincenza (Gizarelli) Girardi. Mrs. Antonelli was employed by the State of Rhode Island working in various departments, retiring from the Department of Employment Security in 1987 after twenty-eight years. She enjoyed ceramics. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Christopher Antonelli III and his wife Cynthia of Jamestown, Stephen R. Antonelli and his partner Robert Weeks of Cranston, Paul J. Antonelli and his wife Marcia of Cranston. Mrs. Antonelli was the grandmother of Nina E. Antonelli, Alesandra Antonelli, Gianna V. Antonelli and Chad R. Antonelli. She was the sister of Andrew Girardi of CT. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Church, Broadway, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 pm.
