Mr. Seehorn served with the U. S. military 1 June 1917 through 27 August 1919, during World War I. In civilian life, Otho L. Seehorn worked as a molder for Rock Island Arsenal. He also worked at the Lend A Hand Club.

Mr. Seehorn passed away 1 February 1974 at a hospital. Funeral services were given at a chapel in Davenport Iowa. Interment took place the National Cemetery, at Rock Island Arsenal.
