William and Gayla May Lamonda (daughter of Frank Lamonda and Blanche Smith) were married 20 May 1923 at the parsonage of the Gilbert Church by Rev. F. W. Smith (Carbon Co. marriage license #15905). In 1923 they were both living at Albrightsville, PA.

He was a Christmas tree dealer for 53 years, a farmer at Long Pond for 40 years, and engaged in the huckleberry business for many years. He attended Fairview Academy at Brodheadsville and was a teacher for eight years at Meckesville. William was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Jim Thorpe, the Western Pocono Lions Club, the Pocono Mountain School District building authority and a former member of the Tunkhannock Township school board.
