Died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1988. He was 65, a native of Guthrie, Okla., and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Allied Corp. employee, with 30 years service and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Willis Ray Curtis. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Sybil Keller Adams; mother, Pearl Love, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Linda Ellison, Denham Springs, and Cindy Holt, Baton Rouge; a sister, Arlene Toler, Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Val E. Adams, Clinton; and four grandchildren, Hollie and Lori Ellison, both of Denham Springs, and Tiger and Adam Holt, both of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by two brothers, Ben Adams and Troy Johnston.
