Wife of Thomas Fagan (he died Aug 22, 1900 in Mexico, Adrain Co., Missouri and is buried at St. Brendan's Cemetery there). After her husband Thomas died she moved to Fresno California and lived with daughter Elizabeth Piper.

Ann and Thomas Fagan had 8 children.

Newton friends and relatives of Mrs. Anna Fagan have received word of her death which occurred in Fresno California August 28, 1919. Mrs. Fagan's past 85 years of age, and until an accident shortly before her death was in excellent health. She has the misfortune of break her hip, and this injury did not heal properly.
Mrs. Fagan had visited at the home of her son James Fagan in this city (Newton, Ks) a number of times, and was well known here. Anne was living with Elizabeth and her husband Lewis Piper in Fresno Calif when Anne died.

MRS. FAGAN, Funeral Tomorrow
The funeral of Mrs. Ann Fagan, age 85 years, who died at her home, 3754 Mono Avenue yesterday, will be held Saturday morning at 7:30 o'clock from the chapel of Stephen & Bean and from there the cortege will proceed to St. John's Catholic church where a high mass of requiem will be sung. Interment will be in Mount View Cemetery, Fresno, Fresno Co., California. The deceased is survived by two daughters and one son. Mrs. L.H. Piper of this city (Fresno ). Mrs. William Anderson of Denver, Colorado and Mr. James Fagan of Newton, Kansas

AUGUST 28, 1919 Ann Fagan loving mother of Mrs. L. H. Piper of Fresno. Mrs. William Anderson of Denver, Colorado and Mr. James Fagan of Newton, Kansas. A native of Pennsylvania aged 85 years. The funeral cortege will leave the chapel of Stephens & Bean tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 7:30 o'clock, thence to the St. John's Catholic church where requiem mass will be held for the repose of the soul. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend. Internment in Mountain View Cemetery, Fresno, Fresno Co., California

Mrs. Thomas Fagan, 85, years old, grandmother of Mrs. C. T. Johnson of this city, died last Thursday in Fresno, Calif. She formerly resided in this city (Mexico, Audrain Co., Missouri) where she has many friends. She left here three years ago (1916) for the West. The Ledger extends sympathy to the bereaved.
